The website “100 smart ways to live sustainable” shows you how to live a good life within the limits of what the planet can take. The environmental impact of each choice is calculated along with the potential effect of every citizen making the same choice. If, for example, a person trades his/her car for an electric bicycle and uses it to travel 100 km per week between April and November, his/her carbon footprint is reduced by nine per cent per year. The calculation and specification was made by D-mat Oy, a company that specialises in carbon footprint calculations.
